TU Speaker: April 10th – LE Rhodes “Fishing The James River”

If you want to know what flies and when and where to have success on the James, you don’t want to miss this night! LE has been guiding for over 20 years with his Hatchmaker Guide Service out of Scottsville and with Mossy Creek Fly Fishing. He regularly supplies flies to Green Top Hunting and Fishing in Richmond and will be happy to discuss some of the flies he ties.

For over 45 years LE Rhodes has been fishing the James River. If you’ve ever fished the waters around Scottsville and the Hardware river, you’d know how much of a puzzle it can be. To some, it’s a complete mystery. Seemingly devoid of riffles it can be hard to locate the fabled big bass. Then all of a sudden, you spook one right where it shouldn’t have been.

He’s one of a kind and you definitely will be entertained. See you there!

All meetings are at 7pm, FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

We’ve moved our meetings to RUBY’S LOUNGE below CLEMENTINES in downtown Harrisonburg, Located at 153 S Main St. Harrisonburg VA 22801. Google maps link here.
