Bob Cramer started fly fishing when he was 10 years old and began guiding in 1982 when he opened a fly shop in Bridgewater. Bob is widely acknowledged as the dean of Mossy Creek fishing guides and was selected as Southern Trout Magazine’s top Virginia guide, May 2015.
In addition to guiding, Bob ties flies, and teaches fly tying and casting. He has developed several successful fly patterns including the Disco Cricket, a great pattern on Mossy Creek in terrestrial season. Bob will demonstrate tying some of his favorite patterns for Mossy Creek and describe the best way to fish them.
