Folks, make the most of your Saturday and come out to plant willows and dogwood cuttings along the recently improved section of Mossy Creek. These small steps will help the section become what will surely be another successful project.

  • Date: Saturday March 15th 2014

  • Where: Mossy Creek Augusta County VA,  near the intersection of Rt. 42 and Rt. 608 (Iron Works Rd)

  • Time: 9am – 12pm

  • Dress: In layers, wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get wet and muddy. If possible bring gloves.

  • Tools (if you can bring them): pruning shears and a long screwdriver to make pilot holes for the cuttings as well as a mallet or hammer to help drive back wooden stakes that have heaved loose from winters freeze/thaw.

The event is suitable for children closely supervised by adults.
